REFUND POLICY

30-day return window

You may return unused items in original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method. Email support@gt40marine.com with your order number before sending anything back so we can issue a return authorization and the correct return address.

Items not eligible for return

  • Installed parts (we cannot resell as new once installed)
  • Electrical parts that have been installed or powered on — ECUs, alternators, starters, switches, sensors
  • Special-order items and custom-tuned ECUs flashed to a specific VIN
  • Items returned without prior return authorization
  • Items returned after the 30-day window

If you're unsure whether a part will fit before you install it, email us with your year/make/model/HP and we will check the application.

Return shipping

For returns not caused by our error (wrong item shipped, defect, damage in transit), the buyer pays return shipping. We recommend a tracked, insured carrier — we cannot refund items that go missing in return transit. For returns caused by our error, we email a prepaid return label.

Refund processing

Refunds are issued within 3–5 business days of receiving the returned item and confirming it is in resalable condition. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Bank/card posting times vary by issuer and are usually 1–3 business days after we issue the refund.

Warranty

All GT40 Marine branded parts carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage from improper installation, tuning beyond manufacturer specifications, race use, or normal wear. Email us with your order number and a description of the issue to start a warranty claim.

GT40 ECU products have separate warranty terms listed on the product page; eligible ECUs may qualify for lifetime warranty coverage. Read the product page carefully before purchase.

Damaged or wrong item

Email support@gt40marine.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will reship the correct item or refund, and email a prepaid label for the wrong item if applicable.
