Stage 1 vs Stage 2 vs Stage 3: What's the Difference?

Not sure which performance stage is right for your Sea-Doo? We break down what's included in each kit and who they're designed for.

Stage 1 vs Stage 2 vs Stage 3: What's the Difference?

If you're shopping for Sea-Doo performance parts, you've probably seen kits labeled as Stage 1, Stage 2, or Stage 3. Here's what each one means and how to choose.

Stage 1: The Starting Point ($585-$1,150) Stage 1 kits are designed for riders who want noticeable gains without going deep into modifications. Typical Stage 1 includes a cold air intake, intercooler tubing upgrade, and a blow-off valve. Gains: 15-30 HP depending on your model.

Stage 2: Serious Performance ($1,450-$1,750) Stage 2 adds an exhaust upgrade and sometimes a ported supercharger or bigger intercooler. These kits require more installation time but deliver serious results. Gains: 30-50 HP. Best for riders who want a clear edge in performance riding or racing.

Stage 3+: Full Build ($2,500+) Stage 3 is for dedicated racers. It typically includes a higher-boost supercharger setup (17.5+ PSI), race exhaust, fuel system work, and supporting modifications. Gains: 50-70+ HP. Not for the faint of heart — this is a full race build.
